Board Policies
Board Policy: A written guideline adopted by the board under which the JPA operates. A policy reflects essential board governanance statements, such a broad aurhtoizations of program and services or outlining the administrations' role in implementing these programs.
Regulation: Based on the JPA policies but left to adminstrative discretion in both design and implementation. Administrative regulations define how a policy is executed.
